URGENT ACTION REQUIRED: Bill C-377
Brothers and Sisters:
The Canadian Building Trades has launched a petition website and a cross-Canada Campaign to STOP Bill C-377.
Bill C-377 is a Private Member’s Bill submitted in the House of Commons Proposing amendments to the Income Tax of Canada in respect to all Labour Organizations including Labour Councils and Labour Management associations, etc. It was introduced into the House of Commons by Russ Hiebert, a back-bench conservative Member of Parliament from South Surrey-White Rock-Cloverdale (BC).
The Bill (officially called amendments to the Income Tax Act) also known as “ The Trade Union Regulations Act” will severely and negatively affect labour unions.
We need YOUR support!
It only takes a few minutes and is extremely helpful.
